CRUFTS

Congratulations to all our club members who competed in some way at Crufts.  If you have any news from this years event please let Samantha know and it can be included in the next newsletter.

Lorrain did brilliantly in the Cani Cross with Amy and came 7th, well done Lorraine, although I hear you suffered an injury whilst posing for a photo after the event!

Angela was proudly showing Harvey the Cavalier King Charles, although he wasn’t placed he showed very well.

Kirry also should be proud of herself, although she was unfortunately eliminated, other than that one mistake she had a clear round. Well done Kirry, you showed great maturity and confidence and Kia responded well to you.

BATH  AND WEST

If you have been selected for the Bath and West this year, you will have already had obedience training dates and information. Agility selection will be made shortly. Please make sure that you attend training sessions for this display, if you fail to attend then your place may be given to another member, if you have and questions please ask a trainer or committee member, it is important that the routines are well rehearsed so as we give a great performance on the day. The Bath and West is our biggest opportunity to showcase what we do and advertise our club. Your support in making this display run smoothly is greatly appreciated.

We shall also be organizing a sponsored weave for the Bath and West to raise money for our charity, more information to come…

This years Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 15th June at Beckington village hall. Please support the club and attend this meeting if you can, there will of course be a raffle, refreshments and a trophy presentation.

Any subject you wish to bring up for discussion or any nominations for committee should be given in writing to a committee member by 18th May. Only items on the agenda can be up for discussion on the evening so get your questions in before the deadline!
